Yellow Fever Vaccination Requirement
In accordance with WHO regulations, all individuals entering Liberia must provide a valid International Certificate of Vaccination (Yellow Book) confirming immunization against yellow fever.
Photograph Requirements
Applicants must submit photos or digital images that meet the following criteria:
Photo in color
Head size must be between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches (22 mm to 35 mm) or 50% to 69% of the image’s total height from the chin to the top of the head.
Taken within the last 6 months to reflect your current appearance.
Taken against a plain white or off-white background.
Full-face view, directly facing the camera.
Neutral facial expression with both eyes open.
Regular clothing worn daily; no uniforms (except for religious attire worn daily).
No hats or head coverings unless for religious reasons, and the full face must be visible with no shadows cast on the face.
No headphones, wireless devices, or similar items in the photo.
Submission of Required Documentation
Tourism and visiting visa applicants must submit the following along with their application form:
Confirmation of hotel reservation or a letter from the tourism company to be visited.
A passport valid for travel to Liberia, with at least 6 months of validity beyond your intended stay.
A recent photograph attached to the visa form.
Visa Application Guidelines
Non-Liberian passport holders and Liberians who are naturalized EU citizens must obtain a visa from the Liberian Embassy in Brussels, Belgium, or the nearest Liberian Embassy in their country of residence.
U.S. passport holders are eligible for a three-year visa with a single application.
Submission Instructions
Submit a signed, completed application form with your passport.
A self-addressed, prepaid envelope for document return is recommended but not mandatory (must be trackable via priority, overnight, FedEx, or UPS).

Payment Information
No cash or personal checks accepted.
All fees are non-refundable and must be paid in Euros via money order or direct deposit to the Republic of Liberia Consulate account.

Multiple Entry (6 months): €150
Multiple Entry (1 year): €200

ECOWAS Citizens
Citizens of ECOWAS countries with valid ECOWAS passports can travel freely to Liberia based on ECOWAS travel protocols, free of charge.
Visa Express Service:
For same-day visa processing, an additional €50 fee will be added to the total visa fee.
Reasons for Visa Application Rejection
Your application may be rejected for the following reasons:
Incomplete or unsigned application form
Expired or unsigned passport
Incorrect or missing payment
No passport photos or invalid photos
Lack of supporting documents
Insufficient passport pages or passports with less than 6 months of validity
