Visiting tourism

Applicant must provide a copy of his/her Yellow Book (International Certificates of Vaccination). In accordance with WHO regulations, all persons entering Liberia are required to have a valid certificate of immunization against yellow fever.

Photograph Requirements.

Your photos or digital images must be:

·In color

·Sized such that the head is between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches (22 mm and 35 mm) or 50% and 69% of the image’s total height from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head.

·Taken within the last 6 months to reflect your current appearance

·Taken in front of a plain white or off-white background

·Taken in full-face view directly facing the camera

·With a neutral facial expression and both eyes open

·Taken in clothing that you normally wear on a daily basis

·Uniforms should not be worn in your photo, except religious clothing that is worn daily.

·Do not wear a hat or head covering that obscures the hair or hairline, unless worn daily for a religious purpose. Your full face must be visible, and the head covering must not cast any shadows on your face.

Headphones, wireless hands-free devices, or similar items are not acceptable in your photo

All applicants for Tourism / Visiting visas should deliver alone with their application form, confirmation of hotel reservation or communication from any tourism company to be visited. The following required documents should be delivered to the Liberian Embassy or Consulate near your country’s capital:

·Passport valid for travel to the Republic of Liberia – Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your period of stay in Liberia (unless exempt by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

·Photo – You should attach your photo while completing the visa Form.

All non– Liberian passport holders, as well as Liberians who are naturalized EU citizens are required to obtain a visa from the -Liberian Embassy in Brussels, Belgium prior to traveling to Liberia or the nearest Liberian Embassy where applicant resides.

A signed, completed application form must be submitted with the applicant’s passport.

Self-addressed, prepaid envelope for document return. Must be trackable mail – priority, overnight, FedEx or UPS. This requirement is not compulsory.

Payments: ABSOLUTELY NO cash or personal checks accepted. 

All fees are non-refundable. All fees are to be paid in Euros via money order, or direct deposit to the Republic of Liberia Consulate account.
